• Hatha Yoga

    Combines breath with movement and includes most forms of modern yoga practices, including traditional hatha, vinyasa, slow burn to purify the body, calm the mind, and open the heart. All levels are welcome!

  • Yin Yoga

    In the Yin Yoga class we target the connective tissue: the fascia, tendons, and ligaments, where more than 50% of flexibility, not related to joint structure, originate. In this gentle, yet intense class you will partner breath to movement, and stillness creating a calm mind and relaxed body.  It is a powerful practice done mostly seated or lying down.  It is open to all levels from the beginner to advanced yogi and can improve focus and patience along with numerous physical benefits.  This class is not heated.

  • Ashtanga Vinyasa

    One of the oldest forms of Hatha yoga, Ashtanga contains a set sequence of postures performed in a specific order connecting rhythmic breathing to flowing movements; it begins with Sun Salutations, then works through standing, seated, inverted, and reclining postures. Ashtanga is taught in a heated classroom, increasing the cleansing and detoxifying benefits of the body’s natural cooling system.

  • Chair Yoga

    For many people new to fitness or with various limitations, sitting in a chair to practice adapted yoga poses offers a great opportunity to improve range of motion, strength and balance. The entire class is conducted while seated in a specially designed yoga chair or your own wheelchair. The class is open to all levels of fitness and flexibility with lots of modifications to make it possible for you to get fit while you sit. Chair yoga is taught in a moderately heated room.

  • Joyful Kids Yoga

    Yoga classes for children are specially designed to establish a habit of movement and fitness, and to increase attention, awareness, focus and self-regulation. The classes are based on the needs of the various developmental stages of childhood using games, stories and other activities to teach mindfulness, self-acceptance, and create inner calmness. These classes are designed to be fun and engaging, while teaching valuable life skills.

  • New Teacher Flow

    Newly certified 200 hour Registered Yoga Teachers get the chance to practice teach in a real yoga studio and hone their teaching skills.  Feedback from practitioners is welcome.  This class is a donation based class, donations can be $1 up to any amount.  Style of yoga taught varies.

  • Yoga Foundations Workshop Series

    We created the Twisted Sisters Yoga Foundations workshops for anyone who would like to deepen their practice, as well as study and understand the life improving aspects of yoga.  The workshops in this series cover meditation, spirituality, healthy living, stress reduction, the asanas (postures) and the latest scientific discoveries.  These discoveries we will discuss verify the value of the components of yoga that can improve your work on the mat, and your journey through this life.  These  workshops can be used to enrich your practice and life. 

  • Perfecting Postures Workshop Series

    One Saturday of every other month, Twisted Sisters offers an in-depth, 90 minute exploration of a specific posture. The posture is broken down into all of its parts, giving the students the unique opportunity to explore the nuances and intention of each posture. Students will learn through guided experiences how to get the most out of the posture and to make adaptations that work best for their individual skeletal body, range, strength and flexibility. There will be lots of opportunities to ask questions for the instructors and to try various techniques to help you get the most out of the posture.  Come to one or come to all and enjoy learning a bit more about a yoga and deepening your practice.

  • Pilates Core Builder

    This series of classes uses the powerful techniques created by Joseph Pilates to help you build a stronger core, greater stability, improve balance, and much more.
